My Future Is Bleak Because I Am Obese

I am in trouble No one makes clothes that are big enough for me to fit in to. I am not allowed to sit on certain chairs because they cannot support me. My grocery bill is completely out of control. All of these signs point to the fact that I am fat and it is time to do something about it. How can I lose the weight that I know I need to lose.

While sitting on the sofa one night, I saw a reality show about overweight people. I went online and found out that the show had a website that included a link to the biggest loser forum where there were all sorts of helpful hints, tools and chat rooms that are dedicated to helping people lose weight. I felt better knowing that I was not alone in my desire to lose weight. Having the support of others would make it easier to lose the weight by myself. So I completed my first step by doing the research.

After doing the research, I learned that I had to figure out how much I should lose. I couldn’t wait any longer to lose a lot of weight. I knew that I had to learn how to lose weight fastbecause my health was in danger and if I did not act quickly, I might not get another chance to succeed, and like the people on the show I had watched, I decided that I could lose more than ten pounds a week if I worked hard enough. I knew that I would have to dedicate myself to the chore, but I was up to challenge.

I could not achieve the results by myself, I knew that I wouldn’t succeed by doing a handful of six pack ab exercises in the comfort of my own home whenever I could find the time to do it, and I wanted some professional help. I decided that I would seek the help at a nearby health club The fitness club had all of the equipment and a personal trainer to assist me. In order to be safe about losing weight, I sought out the help of my physician. My doctor put me on a diet that would help me lose the weight. My personal trainer gave me an exercise plan to follow. And I was off on my journey.

For the next few months I devoted my life to exercise, diet, and work. I couldn’t fit anything else into my schedule. The diet and exercise started to work. The pounds were disappearing. After four weeks I had lost a bunch of weight. Suddenly the weight loss stopped and I couldn’t figure out what was going on. All of my support groups that I had developed informed me that this was normal and not to worry about it, just keep doing what I was doing. I listened to my friends and family and stuck with it. The diet and exercise eventually began to work again. My supporters were right, and I felt good about myself.

I have made a major impact on my life by making the decision to lose weight and have been very successful going from over four hundred pound to about two hundred and thirty pounds in under a year. All of the benefits are worth all of the hard work. I have added over a decade to my life expectancy by getting healthy. I am well respected at my gym for what I have accomplished. I wake up in the morning with a smile on my face and a skip in my step because of how I feel. I never want to gain the weight back, but that has not been the greatest benefit I received. The best part has been the great feeling I have about myself. I wouldn’t trade that for anything.
