Christmas is the best time of the year for shopping, well… almost the best time. My favorite thing about Christmas is decorating, shopping and receiving gifts! That is not to say that I don’t love being with my family too and enjoying our once a year trip down memory lane or the countless aspirins I ingest in any given week starting from November till about the first week after New Years, nonetheless it always seems to bring out the best in me.

Besides hunting for the best gifts… ever been to WalMart during the holiday rush? One of my main focuses to inducing the Spirit of Christmas is by decorating. I am one of those people who often starts planning my holiday décor in September when the weather starts to cool down, the smell of fall is in the air and something in me anticipates making my home as beautiful and comfortable as possible.

Decorating the outside with colorful Led lights, decorating the tree with ornaments of sentimental value, the smell of cookies in the oven, some garlands and mistletoe, and candles galore make my home inviting. I want my family to come in from the cold and feel happy and cared for and to show them that even though it only happens once a year, home is where my heart is.

Oh and there are so many things these days that I hardly know where to begin but I did stumble on an internet Christmas Catalog that was so full of ideas and great prices on things that it not only gave me great new holiday decorating ideas but also some really cool gift ideas that I probably never would have thought of myself.

I really can’t seem to get enough when it comes to Christmas. I just found out how to make Japanese gift wrap and Yule logs! Not to mention I didn’t know that Weeble Wobbles were still being made. And seeing as though this year the budget is tight I really love the idea of people doing the shopping for me and all I have to do is decide if it is in my budget or not, not to mention trying out some new ideas.

I think this year is going to be the best year eva! Though I seem to say that every year, this year I have a good feeling because the prices seem to be coming down on a lot of things so that means more money for me to try out all the new ideas and hopefully get myself the Coach Purse I have been dreaming about since my birthday.

Shopping is in my blood but nothing bugs me more than finding the same item elsewhere for cheaper after I have already purchased it. So one of the things I really loved about this catalog is that most of the items listed are from real people and through Amazon and Ebay which I buy from all the time anyways so I feel confident that I am getting the best deal!
