Razor Electric Bike For Kids
Getting on a Razor dirt bike is always fun and interesting for a teen because it does give the feeling of sitting on a real bike. Essentially, it is a mini version of a dirt bike and since it has speed limits, it is not risky for kids to ride it. A Razor bike operates on rechargeable battery and once completely charged, you can ride it for up to three quarters of an hour at one go.
Razor bike has several designs to suit different groups such as size and competence level. All the models are made for teens with the slowest bike having a recommended minimum age of twelve for the rider. This bike, which is the Razor MX350, comes with a maximum weight limit of 140lbs and it can only move up to 14 miles per hour with a 350-watt electrical motor. If your kid is just starting out with little riding skill, the MX350 is an appropriate bike with its slower acceleration and smaller size.
At the upper end is the Razor MX650 Dirt Rocket. This Razor dirt bike is much more impressive than the MX350 with a 650-watt machine. The speed limit for this bike is 17 miles per hour and it can take riders weighing up to 220lbs. While the ow end bike has only 12-inch tires, the MX650 uses 16-inch tire for its front and 14-inch tire for the back with its larger body. More for skillful riders, it is a great bike for those who are 16 and above.
Naturally, there are also two other versions in between the MX350 and MX650. They are the MX400 and MX500 models. All these bikes, from the MX350 to MX650, are dissimilar in price with the faster ones being dearer as you go up the product line. However, between the MX350 and MX400, the latter is not as popular among parents because the features are about the same. They perhaps just do not think that that it is worth it to pay the higher price just to pick up a 50-watt difference in the motor.
Lastly, make sure that you acquire the appropriate bike for your teen based on his maturity and experience. There are possibilities of smash-ups with these bikes, especially for a inexperienced rider, and that is why you should be careful about which bike to get. Even if you have the funds to get the most powerful model, it may not be the most appropriate for your teen after all.
